Description
This kit is a commonly used colorimetric method to detect cell proliferation and toxicity. Its detection principle: Sulforhodamine B (SRB) is a water-soluble protein dye that can interact with basic amino acids in intracellular proteins. Combined to form a complex, the amount of total protein bound to the cell can reflect the number of cells. The absorbance measured at the wavelength of 515nm showed a good linear relationship with the number of cells.
