Cell migration is the movement of cells from one area to another along a concentration gradient, driven by chemical signals. The observation of cell movement in unicellular organisms is critical for the development and maintenance of multicellular organisms. Many physiological/pathological processes, such as injury repair, cell differentiation, embryonic development, and metastasis of malignant tumors, need to be completed by cell migration.

Our cell migration/chemotaxis assay kits utilize Boyden chambers where cells migrate through a semipermeable membrane under different stimuli, and we can directly analyze cell migration by reading fluorescence in a plate reader.
