Description
Our Phospholipid Assay Kit provides a simple, straightforward and high-throughput assay for measuring choline-containing phospholipids in biological samples. In this assay, phospholipids (e.g. lecithin, lysolecithin and sphingolipids) are enzymatically hydrolyzed to choline, which is measured using choline oxidase and H 2 O 2 specific dyes. The optical density of the pink product at 570 nm or fluorescence intensity (530/585 nm) is proportional to the phospholipid concentration in the sample.
